Riddhi Patel

Hey :) i'm Riddhi but you can call me RP!
I'm passionate about building, researching, and creating at the intersection of finance and technology and designing systems that make payments seamless, digital currencies usable, and financial access more equitable.
Currently I am based between NYC & SF and my personal interests lie in yoga, sand/snowboarding, music making, sneakers, gaming (valorant & minecraft).
I just spent my last four years studying CS at UC Berkeley, where I dove deep into all sorts of things! I spent a summer in Seattle at AWS working on automating firmware pipeline for smart family devices on the hardware/software team (SMASH), researched and tested zero-knowledge proof systems (Groth16, Halo2, Plonky2) across AI applications at Franklin Templeton Digital Assets, co-authored a white paper with UC Berkeley's LIFT Lab and Ripple analyzing stablecoin architectures and deployment models for financial inclusion. I also co-authored a second paper proposing new models for parallel transaction execution in Ethereum to address scalability limitations of the EVM. I led Blockchain@Berkeley, a 70+ member technical organization driving research, education, and consulting in crypto. Organized 10+ large-scale events across the globe and taught & designed curriculum for Blockchain Fundamentals and Blockchain for Developers (Solidity & Rust), reaching 200+ students on campus.
